Editorial Experience


Rosalind has extensive experience of writing/editing for many magazines and books including Fresh, Portugal, The Italian Magazine, Greece, Country Life, Malmaison Life, Heyday and the Which? Wine Guide.


She created, launched and ran several travel, food and property magazines including French and The Italian Magazine for nationwide distribution.


Wine Editor and also a general contributor to two major wine and food websites: and The Taste site was developed in conjunction with Sainsbury’s and Oddbins.


Senior Editor on various high quality wine books, including touring guides to Provence and NE Italy, and Oz Clarke’s Pocket Wine Guide.


She is also co-editor of the Footprint Wine Travel Guide to the World and broadcast on Radio Oxford and Radio 210. She reviewed restaurants for The Good Food Guide. Former editor of Wine Times, the in-house magazine for The Sunday Times Wine Club (readership: 100,000), she worked closely with founder Tony Laithwaite, now a renowned mail order wine merchant.


Author of several titles on food and wine including The Wine Book (HarperCollins,UK & HP Books, USA); Spirits and Liqueurs; The Home Bartender and the Wine Almanac (Michael Joseph)


Former Assistant Editor of Decanter Magazine in London.
